To offer a solid structure of Spanish history and development in different areas. To help students to get familiar with the culture and way of thinking in Spain.

Contents:

Spain from the beginning until 1700 (History, Art, Ideology, etc.)

Methods:

Lecture, in Spanish language.

Assessment:

Written exam at the end of the term.

Literature:

Will be offered during the semester on Olat.

Due to substantial differences in the allocation of ECTS-Credits in various curricula (teacher training programs/specialized degree programs), the requirements for this course vary. Information will be provided by the instructor at the beginning of the course.

It is usually a very nice and relaxed course where the students can participate with their questions about the topics we are dealing with.
