To activate text-writing skill at C1+-level in order to write coherent, focused and well-organized essays.

Analysis and composition of texts focusing on narrative and argumentative techniques and points of view (organization, coherence and style). Students will be expected to read 1 short story (to be announced in class) at home and to write an interpretation/commentary.

Critical in-class analysis of texts written by students. Self-guided learning. Error correction.

1 homework (short essay or literary analysis), regularly writing assignments, intermediate and final written exam (argumentative essay)

Literature will be provided by the instructor and uploaded into the OLAT. It is reccomended the use of a good Italian dictionary.

No particular requirement is given for the enrolment to this course.

Due to substantial differences in the allocation of ECTS-Credits in various curricula (teacher training programs/specialized degree programs), the requirements for this course vary. Information will be provided by the instructor at the beginning of the course.

The detailed program of the course will be delivered by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. The course will start during the first week of the semester.
