The Basic language course I in Portuguese (UE) will raise communicative and grammatical competences to the A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The course will focus on the culture of the lusophone countries as well as the language skills required to be able to communicate in situations of everyday life.

The course will adopt an interactive approach.

There will be written midterm and final exams.

The course book will be available for purchase from the Studia bookshop, Innrain 52f.

Reference lists, scripts, and worksheets will be distributed either in digital format or in hard copy.

The course is an optional subject aimed at diploma students, bachelor's students, and master's students.

Electronic registration via the online study programme is compulsory for participation in the course.
