Didactics of History, Social and Political Studies: World History as a Stage: Portraits of the Renaissance as a Means of Self-Staging

Detailed knowledge of the theory of the history didactics. Students are able to plan a teaching module for the secondary school I/II, to detect the subject Renaissance from different perspectives, recycle sources and the presentation of history with the pupils, and prepare and reinforce a virtual visit to the exhibition "personalities of the Renaissance" didactically.

Consolidation of the theory of the history didactics. Planning and elaboration of training modules on "The Renaissance period from different perspectives" for the secondary I/II in accordance with local curricula; editing sources and representations as well as preparation and evaluation of a virtual exhibition visit about "personalities of the Renaissance". When preparing lessons, the basic concepts perspective and power as well as the historical and political skills are central to the didactic efforts.

 

 

Lecture, reading, discussion, presentation of teaching units by the students, reflection.

Classes with continuous performance assessment: attendance at all sessions, regular and active participation in discussions, oral presentation and handout, didactic seminar paper (min. 10 pages) respectivly poster presentation.
