winter semester 2016/2017 | Last update: 07.11.2016 | Place course on memo listSuccessful participants of this module understand the most important concepts of imperative programming and can apply them in practice. They have developed the ability to acquire similar concepts independently. They are capable of analyzing existing computer programs and of designing and implementing their own.
Introduction to imperative computer programming; introduction to C; data types; variables; instructions; functions; arrays; pointer; modularization; implementation of elementary algorithms and data structures; integrated software development environments; debugging
Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.

During the Studies Induction and Orientation Period, the following course examinations must be completed satisfactorily:
1. Introduction to Programming VO 3 (4,5 ECTS-Credits)
2. Introduction to Practical Computer Science VO 2 (3 ECTS-Credits)
3. Introduction to Practical Computer Science SL 1 (2 ECTS-Credits)
