Students can understand advanced methods of computer graphics. The underlying theory will be discussed that will allow for rendering photorealistic images of 3D scenes. The lecture is tightly coupled with the proseminar, in which hands-on experience with advanced topics is targeted. 

The goal of the course is to provide students with the tools and knowledge required for generating photo-realistic rendering. Major aspects of direct and global illumination, as well as geometrical modeling are covered. The taught material will provide students with the ability to understand contemporary terminology, progress, issues, and trends in Computer Graphics.

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.
