They interact on different ways with theyr environment, and shape it in an impressive way. The understanding of the function of fungi in our environment is promoted based on selected examples.
The function of fungi in different habitats and under different environmental conditions is the main topic. Dissemination strategies of fungi are also considered.
The specific topics can be chosen from the following main themes.
Fungi as destruents, symbionts and parasites. Associations of fungi with animals and other interactions. Fungi in extreme habitats. Survival strategies and competitive behavior. Application of fungi and fungal products
Permanent assessment and oral presentation.
