Students are capable of using special problems of basic research for independent exploration of psychological literature and analysis of psychological problems.

In the seminar, the core research areas to clarify the significant neurocognitive and neuroemotional structures and processes are treated at face recognition. Based on a survey of these research areas several empirical and theoretical works from the Neurocognition and Neuroemotion research will be presented to explain the different interdisciplinary approaches to study face recognition. The results are finally discussed in the context of an integrative approach to face recognition and analyzed in terms of their importance in the formation of neuroscientific theories.

Examinations using continuous assessment based on regular written and oral contributions from the participants.
