Students learn to conduct a scientific report under supervision. The course deals with theoretical topics from clinical, work- and organizational psychology. Based on a comprehensive literature research students will develop a research question and formulate appropriate hypotheses. By means of scientific methods students will conduct their own empirical study including data collection, data analyses, and discussion of the results. The research process will be written-up in a report that constitutes the bachelor thesis.

The seminar focuses on topics from work- and organizational psychology and clinical psychology. With respect to work- and organizational psychology, research models that investigate the effects of different forms of participation, organizational climate and leadership on employees' behavior are of special interest. Within clinical psychology, the topics are not limited to specific themes.
