Learning Outcome:

The learning objective is to familiarize the students with the basic topics and contents of the initial psychological consultation with a patient. Furthermore everyone will develop a guideline for the initial consulation and get the possibility to apply communication skills he learned in the course.

Contents:

In this course you will learn about the theoretical backgrounds and communication skills concerning the initial psychological consultation. You will also develop a guidline Interview and practice the initial consultation.

Methods:

role-play, discussion, individual- and group work

Assessment:

mall mixed groups work out presentations at home and present those to the whole course. In addition to that active oral participation through contributions to seminar discussions.
