Students perform the loading of the cells with the calcium fluorescent dye Fluoro4 and measure the change in intracellular calcium concentration in response to different caffeine concentrations in skeletal muscle cell line C2C12. Students will transfer their acquired knowledge to practical investigations regarding drug absorption from ointments and creams through the skin. Therefore, students will perform experiments with the Franz diffusion cell.
