Students have detailed knowledge on the function of innate and adpative immunity as well as on the interactions of cellular and humoral immunological components.

The lecuture describes the function of innate and adaptive immunity in detail. A special focus is put on the interactions between cellular and humoral components and the underlying molecular mechanisms.

A preliminary meeting for all optional modules of the master study in molecular biology will be held on October 3rd, 2016 at 3 p.m. on the Technik Campus, lecture hall "HS A".

It is obligatory to attend all three parts (lecture, seminar, lab course) to pass the module „Overview of the immune system“.

An introductory meeting for the seminar and the lab course will tagke place on October 4th 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the seminar room of the Institute for Biomedical Aging Research (Rennweg 10). Attendence is obligatory for all participants of the module.
