Learning Outcome:

Profound analysis of fundamental theories of child socialization and identity as well as developement of cognitive and moral skills of children.

Contents:

Fundamental concepts of theory of developement from Jean Piaget and Lawrence Kohlberg; theory of socialization from Talcott Parsons and George Herbert Mead; questions regarding moral developement of children and its encouragement, for example by "Philosophizing with Children".

Methods:

Textanalysis, small groups or entire classroom.
