Testimonies of a Lived Faith: "Calendars in Christeanity, Judaism, and Islam"

The students are able to identify the most important Christian calendar systems. They can appropriately explain the development of different Christian Easter dates. They are familiar with the outlines of Jewish and Islamic calendars.

Old Roman, Julian, Gregorian, Meletian, Coptic, Ethiopian, Jewish, and Islamic Calendars.

Lecture; possibility for queries and discussion.

Written examination.
