The course will give an overview over techniques of panel analysis and event history analysis. These techniques will be trained using practical examples, which will be based on the data of the Cologne High School Panel (CHiSP; 1969/1985/1997/2010) and are computed with Stata. Precognitions of Stata are not necessarily required because the course gives a short introduction into Stata. Basic knowledge of regression techniques are helpful. Basic literature and the data will be provided on a webserver.
