The course offers an overview of management accounting practice in different types of organisations and industries. Students should learn how challenges of management and management accounting are influenced by the organisational or institutional context.
The course covers the following types of organisation or industries: industry firms, retailing, banks and insurance firms, public organisations, and non-profit organisations.
Lecture, guest lectures from practitioners, discussion, student presentations
Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
positive completion of the mandatory course referred to in § 7( 2-1) i.e. "Management Accounting" and the seminar of the mandatory course referred to in § 7( 2-4), i.e. "Accounting"
