Besides excellent subject knowledge, the two main skills needed in today's labour market are communicative abilities and a good command of English. Communication in Business provides participants with the tools to gain both skills. The predominant goal of the course is to enable students to communicate better and more effectively in English.

Self-management (goal-setting, self-evaluation, time management, learning strategies) Information management Information transfer (in discussions, meetings, etc.) Self-presentation (CV, strategies for job interviews) The business context includes fundamental areas of economics and business administration.

Simulations and role plays, pair and group work, discussions, case studies.

Continuous assessment of performance in class as well as written assignments in the e-campus will be used as a basis for the final grade. Regular attendance is obligatory
