summer semester 2017 | Last update: 22.03.2017 | Place course on memo listIn this seminar students learn to empirically study HRM-related issues. Students will design, conduct and present an own empirical study, using qualitative interviews. Further they will be able to assess the quality of others' empirical studies.
The students' empirical projects build on their literature review from the basic course. The instructor will support the students' projects by providing inputs on technical, methodological, social and ethic issues related to empirical inquiries as well as constant consulting.
Working on the own empirical project (incl. conducting interviews), discussing the research proposal, working on case studies (e.g. on research ethics), doing exercises on empirical research methods, interviewing, coding etc., dicussing different research approaches
Term paper as team work, group presentation of the research project, preparation of and active participation in the seminar
