Students have deep knowledge about business process modeling and business process reengineering. Students are able to design information systems along value chains incl. electronic business models.

The lecture provides a comprehensive overview about business process modeling and enterprise modeling in the organizational context. Therefore, a detailed analysis of modeling methods and techniques, process analytics and optimization approaches as well as reengineering approaches takes place. Additionally selected reference models are discussed.
