The course will give an overview of questions, methods and epistemological interests of historic and pedagogic anthroplogy. This shall facilitate an immersion in the connection between space, body and movement.

A general overview and immersion will be unfolded and discussed along the human categories of corporeality, sociality, liminality, historicity, subjectivity and culturality. The discussions should lead to an understanding of the background of contemporary anthropologic discourses.

Lecture, discussions in small groups and in plenum; students' lectures (including written summary) and other documented contributions.

Course with formative assessment, i.e., students are graded on the basis of written and/or oral tasks assigned regularly over the term.

Attendance is compulsory.
