Introduction to several subjects and issues of Literary Studies.
Based on the research interests of the interdisciplinary research center “Dimensions of Literature Transfer” the lecture will focus on different practices of intermediation, reception and transfer of literature. In this context literature is not defined as a static entity, but rather a bundle of practices defining by itself the conditions of a modern and largely autonomous literature. The speakers will illuminate central aspects of transferring and the transfer of literature between the media and texts, languages and cultures, entities and stakeholders, materiality, memory areas or social fields and discourses.
