Development of specific language skills relevant for academic and German studies in the field of receptive and productive written text competence; for students with non-German mother tongue

Analysis of academic and literary texts related to German studies; academic text production (e.g. review, synopsis, summary). In addition, practice of selected areas of basic grammar, vocabulary and stylistics of contemporary German language; in particular, topics necessary for the comprehension and production of complex texts

Interactive teaching

Written and oral assignments, final exam

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

Completion of a course “German for advanced students” or equivalent level (e.g. supplementary examination of the university, foreign school leaving examination): B2/C1 according to CEFR

For students of German studies with non-German mother tongue (e.g. Erasmus students)
