Critical analysis and translation into English of literary texts originally written in German (different styles, historical eras, genres).

Contents:

Literary texts (different historical eras and genres) originally written in German. Their English translations, which are prepared by students and which are subsequently edited, analyzed and evaluated in class.

Methods:

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

1 test and continuous assessment

Literature:

Will be discussed in the first lesson.

Remarks:

The course is only for students with German as their mother tongue.
