The students will learn how to tackle technical translation, different types of texts and difficult terminology.

During the course we will analyse different types of texts relating to the sector of ropeways, the different kinds of systems existing on the market, the EU-directive and technical standards.

Students will have to present the characteristics of different types of ropeways, write glossaries and learn the most important elements of funiculars.

Students will be evaluated during the whole course. They will have to actively participate with oral presentations, translations homework and translations in class.

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
