The course aims at providing an introduction to Comparative Literature Studies. It will provide participants with a basic knowledge in different working techniques of literary studies (reading, extracts, research, writing, presentation, discussion). It also offers initial insights into fields, issues and problems of Comparative Literary Studies, such as intermediality, interculturality, literary theory and world literature.
Lecture, Discussion, oral presentations, group work, short papers.
Regular attendance, active participation in the lessons, assignments, oral presentation, portfolio, final exam.
