The students gain an overview of contents, methods and approaches to regional geography focused on Africa. An important teaching aim refers to geomorphology, climatology, ethnicity, and economy.

Civilizations in a regional scale, development of territories, nature and culture, problems of development, urban areas and development pathes, cultural ecology and city structure, cattle and farming, economy and tourism

input oriented course (by getting students involved)

written examination at the end of the course (further possible repetitions in the subsequent semester)
