Learning Outcome:

Students receive a comprehensive overview on the biology, ecology and economic utilization of algae from aquatic and terrestrial habitats. The main focus is on the ecophysiological performance under various environmental conditions.

Contents:

In the seminar students get the opportunity to orally present current questions in phycology. This allows the demonstration of their knowledge during discussions of scientific literature.
