The seminar is devoted to the increasing role of music in psychological and neuroscience research. Students have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with some of the key research areas (see below).

Topics will include: "Music and Emotion"; ""Music therapy";  "Neurobiology of musical experience"; "Musical development"; "Musical giftedess"; "Music preferences"; "Music and language"; "Relevant test and assessment procedures" 

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

A short paper based on an oral presentation and a brief multiple choice question exam.
