Learning Outcome:

Students familiarize themselves with advanced statistical analysis, including the theoretical approaches, the possibilities, and how to use them in practice and what problems have to be overcome.

Contents:

Theoretical and practical introduction to advanced statistical methods, such as General Linear Models (GLM), Generalized Linear Models (GLM), and Linear Mixed Models (LMM). The course also includes an introduction to the programming language R.

Methods:

Lectures and exercises.

Assessment:

Exercises and final written examination.
