Students aquire knowledge of the most important substances and fundamental principles of inorganic chemistry. They are able to implement inorganic substances in the fields of environment and technology.

Transition metal chemistry focusing on d-block elements: general characteristics; basics, compound models, reactivity of coordination compounds; deposits, production and characteristics of d-metals; important compound classes; technologically important processes, bioinorganic aspects, chemistry of lanthanides and actinides.

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
