With attention to the contents of the courses in general chemistry, students acquire experimental knowledge of the identification and qualitative analysis of inorganic salts and metals. Students gain multidisciplinary skills/key skills, such as the ability to work in a team and oral and written communication skills.
Combination of the elements from the lectures in General Chemistry with the chemistry of substances: experiments in solution and precipitation reactions, acid-base reactions, redox reactions and complexation reactions; properties, reactivity, and confirmation tests of inorganic salts, metals, acids and bases in aqueous solution.
Grading according to the correctly analyzed samples
Script from the lecture "Chemie in wässriger Lösung" in the winter semester.
Completed compulsory module 3 (General Chemistry A)
This laboratory course can be combined with the course "General Chemistry A" only, not with "General Chemistry B".
