The students will acquire hands-on experimental skills regarding the synthesis and characterization of simple organic compounds. In the "Laboratory Course Organic Chemistry I", the students will acquire basic interdisciplinary key competences regarding their capacity for team work as well as oral and written communcation skills
Synthesis and characterization of simple organic compounds; experiments include esterifications, hydrolyses, condensations, electrophilic aromatic substitutions, oxidations and reductions
Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).
Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
