Students are able to deal with specific ecological issues, in theory and in practice. Based on an article they search for further literature which they summarize during a short presentation.

Case studies and applied or research-related ecological issues (e.g. EIA, SEA, management plans).

This term: aquatic topics

eutrophication, water framework directive, polluntants in aquatic ecosystems, ground water, climate impact on aquatic ecosystems, etc.

Students may also suggest a case study fitting into this framework. 

Students give a presentation and actively take part in the discussions.

successful completion of compulsory modules 2 and 12, and elective module 13

This term, the case studies will focus on aquatic ecology.

The pre-seminar information meeting will be on 6th March. Attandents are obliged to attend.

Topics will become available for selection in OLAT.
