Through participation in the lecture series students are made familiar with current research topics in the fields of applied mechanics and strength of materials of outside experts, and they learn how current topics are presented and discussed at a scientific level. Contact with the invited speakers enables students to get to know the Scientific Community.

Attendance of the invited-lecture series organised by the Unit of Applied Mechanics and the Unit of Strength of Materials and Structural Analysis.

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"
