- Get knowledge about properties of important geometric objects and their relative relations - Knowledge of suitable projections of 3D-objects in the plane and their properties - Acquisition of the ability to do 3d-operations of objects in their 2d-projections - Development of spatial imagination - Ability to solve gemetric problems with the help of a 3D-CAD software
- Axonometric views (orthogonal and skew) - Special projection (spot heigth projection) - Curves (mathematical description) - Surfaces (polyhedron, s. of revolution, pipe s., cyclic s., offset s., fillet s., ruled s., screw s. and freeform s.) - Intersection of surfaces - Developable surfaces
Lecture with drawings on paper
Written exam, 3 hours consisting of 2 hours practical part and 1 hour theoretical part. Prerequirements: successful completion of CAD Se and, if required because of ordinance on the examination, Vorkurs Darstellende Geometrie
