Students possess advanced knowledge of data minig and computational modeling, their qualities and relationships. They are suitably qualified for the competent application of these disciplines to solve practical problems in biomedicine.

Statistical principles, data preprocessing (data transformation, integration), feature selection, classification (logistic regression, decision trees, k-nn, SVMs, neutral networks), clustering (k-means, density-based and hierarchical clustering).

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).
