224006 VO Foundation of Exegesis of the New Testament I: Gospels and Acts of the Apostles
winter semester 2017/2018 | Last update: 18.12.2019 | Place course on memo listBasic knowledge of structure, content, and theological thought of New Testament texts based on their historical, literary and compositional features.
History and composition of the gospels will be treated with particular focus on the development and literary dependence. Special problems are the synoptic problem and the integration of Luke's gospel into a larger historical work consisting of gospel and Acts. Finally the apocalypse will be introduced.
