In-depth knowledge on the general part of the law of obligations following the Austrian Civil Code.

Common rules on contractual and non-contractual obligations. Main focus on contract law (mainly remedies for non-performance).

Lecture with discussion

Part of the final diploma examination "Bürgerliches Recht und IPR" resp. "Bürgerliches Recht I".

The contents of the lecture is the basis for understanding the rules of the special part of the law of obligations, which refer to individual contractual or legal obligations. The general part of law of obligations should be completed preferably before the special part of law of obligations, possibly at the same time, at least not in the reverse order .
