At the end of the course students will have acquired understanding and general knowledge about the topic and role of serial narration in different media and literary texts. Also they become familiar with important theories of seriality

You could find serial narratives in different media. We will discuss several varieties of serial narration from the so called "Trauerspiel" to actual TV Series and movies.

Recommended for 3rd semester Master Programme Media Studies and 3rd semester Master Programme German Philology. Students of Master Programme Media have priority.
