winter semester 2017/2018 | Last update: 05.10.2017 | Place course on memo listTo give students an overall insight into the workings of English at an advanced level - C1+ and create a flexible awareness of the language.
Time/tense, subjunctives, nouns/noun phrase, verbs/verb phrase, modality, word-order, concord, co-text, context, referencing etc . The course is based on textual concepts and contexts.
Class presentations supported by obligatory tutorials, open class discussion. Weekly homework based on revision of the week's in-class topic.
Attendance in the first week is obligatory.
Final written exam, class presentation.
