Language skills and competences: competence level according to the CEF: A2/B1 (from basic to independent user);

Developing the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and (socio)lingusitic, pragmatic and intercultural competences.

Interactive and media-assisted teaching techniques;

1 midterm test, 1 endterm test and 1 oral exam at the end of term; compulsory attendance; active participation in classroom activities; homework assignments; learner autonomy;

Esmantova, T.L: "Pjat' elementov", volume 2 (A2+) and volume 3 (B1). The course book (volume 3) will be provided by the respective lecturers at the beginning of the term (price: about 30 euro).
