Students are familiar with the curricular foundations of using texts and with the problems of a static canon. They are able to critically analyse teaching material and to create it themselves. They can make use of the potential of non-canonical texts in teaching Greek and are able to prepare original texts that have not been used yet.

Teaching objectives of using texts in teaching classical languages in view of curricula, overview of central topics of using literature (forms, interpretation, vocabulary and grammar, differentiation), analysis of volumes, getting to know and preparing non-canonical Greek texts, didactic preparation of a module as defined by the curriculum and planning of a lesson sequence

Presentations, individual-, pair- and group work

Combination of homework/portfolio and final exam.
