The students

- will get to know the concept of the action-oriented approach and are able to apply its principles in the Austrian school context

- will be able to create appropriate activities for the Italian language classroom.

- will be able to discuss the relevant research and to moderate a discussion.

Contents:

- Elaboration of teaching units concerning the use and the potential of the various instruments available in Austrian schools

- Presentation and discussion of relevant research

Methods:

lecture, partner and group work, presentations, discussions and moderations

written and oral

Prerequisites:

Successful completion of Compulsory Module 1 Bachelor's Programme Secondary School Teacher Training (General Education) Subject: Italian.

This course is part of Compulsory Module 2 (“Competence Orientation in Modern Language Teaching and Learning”) Bachelor's Programme Secondary School Teacher Training (General Education) Subject: Italian. According to the study program, attending course PM2a before PM2b is highly recommended.
