Fundamental subject-specific knowledge and skills within the field of scientific methods, especially ancient history works. Acquisition of presentation-expertise, in oral or written form.


 

The 5th century BC in Greek History is much affected by the great conflicts between Greeks and Persians. During the lecture a picture of these times will be developed through pertinent readings and work. Predominantly the focus lies in the perception of the Persians in Greek literature. 

Lectures, advanced practice, joint reading, analysis, formal presentations by students.

Participation in the discussion, oral presentation, written task.

Literature will be announced in class.
