Joachim Radkau is one of the most distinguished and well-known German social and environmental historians. As part of the course, we will read and analyze his newest book, “Geschichte der Zukunft” in connection with contemporary sources as well as Lucian Hölscher’s stardard work “Die Entdeckung der Zukunft”.
