Students gain profound knowledge of the current state of research as well as possible practical applications. Additionally, empirical knowledge is extended by drafting a research plan.

Modern technologies have become an integral part of our everyday life in the digital age. Within the scope of the seminar, we are going to analyse in how far these technologies can be used as resources for psychological research and to compare them with conventional approaches. Themes include ambulatory assessment, big data, social media (i.a. Twitter, Facebook), and virtual reality. Based on the analysis of key studies, students prepare a research plan which ist submitted in from of an exposé.
