Students acquire experimental-practical skills in the synthesis of inorganic compounds of the main group elements and transition metals. Students gain interdisciplinary key skills in team work and oral and written communication.
Synthesis of inorganic compounds of the main group elements and transition metals in aqueous solution: complex salts of main group elements, coordination compounds of transition metals with mono and bidentate ligands, ionic liquids, application of basic preparative techniques, characterization by classical, non-spectroscopic methods.
