The course gives theoretical support and reflexion for the exposés of the doctorates thesis.

On the basis of selected literature the course discusses actual problems, issues and tenors in contemporary feminist research in a broad context, therein centring on the contemporary relevance. What means feminist research today? What has changed since the beginning of the second wave of women’s movement in the end of 1960th? What stayed the same and how do we explain this persistence? How did the research field of feminist studies changed due to the institutionalisation at the universities? Are there issues that got lost and why? Can we get back to them? What is the state of discussion in an international context today?

Colloquium: common reflexion and discussion.

Will be announced.
