The course provides students with in-depth knowledge of legal research techniques using modern data processing technology. At the end of the course, students will be able to search for legal data material using legal databases. In addition, students are also to be made aware of the dangers associated with internet research. The correct representation of the material found in scientific work will also be conveyed.

The students are given an insight into the techniques of internet based research by way of power point assisted lecture. In the following units the students are given opportunity to train applying the techniqes by way of practical examples.
