The students are invited to work on educational questions and problems taken from articles in computerscience education at a scientifical advanced level independently to acquire scientific as well as educational competencies.

The individual papers are chosen by the head of the seminar and handed out to the students in line with the seminar. Up-to-date topics of computer science education such as Problem Based Learning in computer science teaching, students’ competencies in computer science and Information Technology as well as Functional Thinking and further paradigms of modeling in computer science teaching will be discussed.

The students are forced to present the contents of the papers well structured and clearly and additionally they are bound to write a term paper.
